A Gift to All Mothers
Written by: Melissa Foong
Being a mom is unlike any other job in the world, her work is never done. It is far more than a typical 9-to-5 job, motivated by pure, unwavering love for their children. Although, there are mums who wear many hats, motherhood comes from sacrificial love. Despite a mother’s continued love and care for her children, she may often feel as if every little sacrifice goes unappreciated.
Therefore, we should appreciate our mums everyday especially on this Mother’s Day.
A mother is someone who will tell you they’re not hungry when there’s only a piece of bread left for the two of you. One who will stay up taking care of you when you fall ill. One will think that they can’t afford to fall ill as the whole family is counting on her to function properly. With that, some often don’t have the time to take care of themselves, let alone pamper themselves.
“Mothers would sacrifice anything for their kids and it’s always a mother’s instinct to share something good with their kids” said Amanda Lim, ISCHIA’s Director and a mother of two. For that reason, it is good for all the children to show appreciation to their mothers on Mother’s day.
Hence, on this special day, do something special for your mum. Get your mum a bouquet of flowers, bring her out on a date and get her a gift to show how much you appreciate her!
Pamper your mother with Ischia on Mother’s Day!
ISCHIA is all about sharing and giving everyone an opportunity to appreciate their mothers on this special day, ISCHIA will help you get the perfect gift for your mums! From their eye cream that prevents wrinkles, to hyaluronic acid containing moisturising gel masks.
Thus, let’s reach out to all the mums in our lives to remind them how loved and appreciated they are.
Here’s a poem for all the Mothers out there:
God made a mother,
A mother who never grows old;
He made her smile of the sunshine,
And He molded her heart from pure gold;
In her eyes He placed the stars,
In her cheeks fair roses you see;
God made a wonderful mother,
And He gave that gift to me.
